Guests
Dave Giles, CFP, CHS
Advisor, Sun Life
Dave Giles is a Certified Financial Planner and the co-owner of Appleby Total Health, a multi-disciplinary health clinic he helped establish alongside his wife, Dr. Candace Giles, in 2014. Drawing on 17 years of experience as a holistic financial planner at Stonewater Financial Group, Dave helps manage the clinic's growth, business planning, and risk management strategies. His unique dual background allows him to deeply understand the financial realities of independent healthcare practitioners. As a hands-on clinic owner, Dave has lived through every stage of building a business from the ground up. This firsthand entrepreneurial experience gives him a profound, empathetic understanding of the exact challenges his self-employed and practitioner clients face. By combining his financial expertise with real-world business ownership, he provides highly practical strategies for financial planning. Outside of work, Dave lives in the Belwood community with his wife and two children, Kyla and Cameron. He is an avid runner, golfer, and enjoys being a coach and Uber driver for his kids’ sports.
